Mommy 🧠
For the past five weeks, my world has shrunk to the size of a baby's swaddle. Although my days are very different, they have made me realise something.
Mommy brain is for everybody. 😅 I must say, it's the same feeling as when I try to speak French. You just stop in the middle of a sentence, and it's as if there's a void, a fog.
So far, motherhood has taught me that planning is useless. Rather than feeling bad about something not working out as you imagined, always have a plan B and look at the situation from a different angle. ⇢ In an English context, use a different word or describe it.
We all need to learn to be more flexible, keep our cool and take a step back..
This week, I wrote an article about why speaking feels slow. Here are the links:

🧪 Your Lab Task: I want you to identify your ‘emergency chunks.’ These are 3–5 short, automated phrases that you don't have to think about.
examples:
To be honest...,
Shoot, how do I put this..
I don’t know the word, it’s like when you .. so .. what’s that called?
The Goal: Next time you feel that lag or fog, stop trying to translate. Just fire one of these pre-saved chunks. It keeps the conversation moving while your supercomputer catches up. Let me know in the comments what are your emergency chunks. 😋
