Time of love
It’s the time of love, and I’m picking up a new hobby!
Do you remember who taught you how to communicate? Do you remember how you learned that skill? I don’t. It’s simply something we do; it’s natural and occurs everywhere around us.
I couldn’t help but wonder: How can I influence my son’s communication abilities? Can I influence them now that he’s only a few weeks old?
I didn’t bother looking for the answer. Instead, I tried, and the answer is simple: Yes, I can!
For now, we speak different languages. He communicates in the best way possible for him. His repertoire is limited, and I am more advanced and experienced. It’s my job to ensure that we understand each other.
If you apply this to learning languages, isn’t it kind of similar? On which side do you stand?
Do you want and need to be understood? Are you doing your best to deliver the message?
Or, are you the one who can make it easier for others? Who understands what they want?
The last question is the core. We need to WANT.
